Whether you know it as Curry Village or Half Dome Village, this famous destination is the one that all outdoor enthusiasts will want to visit. Although Curry Village has a long and rich history, and although it is one of the best values of accommodation in the park, customer service here has deteriorated in recent years. Complaints about the rudeness of the staff, the inconsistent application of the rules and the intolerable practice of bookings you call AFTER PAYING FULLY for your booking and tell you that the prices have increased and are intended to postpone the increase!!! (Prices at Curry Village quadrupled in 6 weeks between June 1 and mid-July 2001) I`ve received emails from people telling a very consistent story on the same topics. Confirm EVERYTHING.
